Introducing the RetroCade Synth! A Papilio based chiptune synth on Kickstarter now!

It’s been quiet on the blog for the last couple of weeks, which is usually a sign that something big is in the works! :) In this case, we’ve been working overtime to put together a Kickstarter project for the RetroCade Synth. The RetroCade Synth puts classic arcade audio chips like the Commodore SID and the Atari ST YM2149 on the Papilio, allowing musicians to make sweet retro music and hackers to make hybrid chiptune hardware that has never existed before.

Watch the video to see it in action. (Best viewed in full screen HD)

Please help us get the word out about the RetroCade Synth, if you know any musicians or hackers that might like this please point them to the RetroCade Synth Kickstarter page.

Thanks!
